A home sale inspection is performed on behalf of perspective buyers after a home has gone on the market. Here we determine potential risk to the buyer so they don’t spend unforeseen dollars after the purchase of the home. In a home sale inspection, we look at the four major systems of the home, including the roof, plumbing, electrical, and air conditioning/heating, as well as the foundation, structure, and drainage of the area around the home. We also want to verify that the doors and windows are properly functional, and that there is adequate insulation in the attic. You should allow one hour per 1,000 square feet to perform this inspection.
Inspection fees are based on the largest square footage publish with the County Property Appraiser’s office. Minimum fee $425 for a 2,500 sf home. ($0.17/sf), please allow approximately 1 hour per 1,000 sf on-site to perform this inspection.
