Glenn Stephens is a seasoned construction professional with over 40 years of experience. He has been a Florida state licensed contractor since 2004 and has supervised as many as twenty employees at once. He has educated over 2,500 professionals in construction and inspection practices, inspected over 4,000 properties, and is an Honorably Discharged Disabled US Air Force Veteran.

Glenn began his career in the construction industry in 1980 with his father’s company. He has worked as a project engineer, estimator, and a safety officer for both civil and structural construction firms. In 2008, he joined a national construction education school as the Principal Instructor educating construction professionals best practices along with exam preparation to become a Florida contractor.

In 2011, Glenn founded G. Stephens & Associates, Inc.®, a company that provides education and training to inspection professionals. He has developed multiple courses for both live and online education and is a Florida-approved course provider for building code officials, contractors, home inspectors, real estate appraisers, and real estate agents/brokers.

Glenn is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the Florida Association of Building Inspectors (FABI) as a FABI Accredited Professional Home Inspector and the 2024 Vice President, the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI®) as a Certified Master Inspector®, and the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) as an ASHI Certified Inspector®. He has been awarded the Ken Young Presidential Award by FABI for his dedication and commitment to the organization.

In addition to his professional experience, Glenn is also an author and has published a training manual titled Hurricane & Wind Mitigation Methodologies. He is currently managing more than 80 courses for FABI and is committed to providing quality education to inspection professionals.
